I’ve occasionally seen people online ask if a piano has Steinway parts. These people are missing an important point, it’s one thing to have Steinway parts but if they have not been fitted to Steinway spec by someone who knows how with the technical, voicing and tuning skills it won’t make a great deal of difference to the sound and playability of the piano.
